IC&RC Requesting Subject Matter Experts to Participate in Survey.
The International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC), the world leader in addiction-related credentialing, approved the development of a Peer Recovery Coach credential for alcohol and drug, mental health, and co-occurring disorder peers in the fall of 2011. As part of the credential and examination development, IC&RC is in need of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who can assist in a study of current practices performed by those providing Peer Recovery services. To have a valid, reliable, and legally defensible credentialing process, IC&RC needs to validate its study through a survey of Recovery Peers that is reflective of the current practices. It is IC&RC’s hope that you would be able to identify potential Subject Matter Experts who might be willing to participate in this survey and survey development. If you are interested in assisting IC&RC or have any questions about the credential, please contact
Rachel Witmer at Rachel@internationalcredentialing.org or by phone at (717)-540-4457 Ex 105.
