This credential has a bachelor's degree.
Like all of CACCF`s certifications, this credential is competency based. There are seven criteria that must be met:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in concurrent disorder or in behavioural health sciences with a clinical application 200 documented hours of education in the knowledge and skill areas ** 4,000 hours specific concurrent disorder counselling experience plus 2000 counselling for a total of 6000 hours (in the last 5 years) 3.5 hour examination 200 hours of clinical supervision Recertification: 40 hours continuing education every two years.
